The three coupon companies are basically advertising publishers that product companies use to advertise their product through the use of a coupon. Each of the three advertisers, Redplum, Smart Source, and Procter & Gamble usually have their regular consumers. This means that you will usually see different bands usually sticking with the same advertiser.

The main problem most couponers face is obtaining the Sunday Paper. The point of coupons is to save as much money as possible. Whats the point if you are spending 1.50 per copy of the Sunday paper? Well, there are many different opportunities to obtain the Sunday Paper Coupons for free, or at least at a heavily discounted price.- Friends: Many of your friends might only use one or two of their Sunday Coupons and then throw the rest away. Simply ask your friends and neighbors if you could have their Sunday Coupons.
- Coupon Clubs: This is probably one of the best ways to obtain coupons. Start your own coupon club and get your friends involved. At the very least, it will be a fun thing to do every week, but maybe a few of them will really get into it. They might go around and ask their friends and neighbors for coupons for the club.
- Dumpster Diving: This might be the least glamorous way of obtaining coupons, but a little hard work can pay off! Find a place where large amounts of people throw away their sunday papers, and simply take them out of the trash. Check your local recycling yards/dump dumpsters every Monday Morning for coupon inserts.
- Buy Multiple Copies: This is for the desperate, but you could always purchase multiple copies of the Sunday Paper. It will cut into your savings though.
- Coupon Clipping Services: There are many different services that will clip and mail you a coupon for a low price. It is usually cheaper then buying multiple copies of the Sunday Paper, but it will still cut into your savings!
